DOGMA

0 - There is no dogma

One of the more common myths we participate in is that we believe, or are even capable of believing the same thing as the person sitting next to us during the religious services of our choice. (If you happen to be an atheist, I invite you to use your towering intelect to modify that statement to suit your life.)

We have all been exposed to the teachings of Moses, Jesus and Mohammed. We've read excerpts from Zen self help books and reinterpretations of Taoism. We all have some smattering of new age philosophy and alien abductions. We've all seen Star Wars. Whether consciously or not, we combine these ideas into a self contradictory collage about how we should live our lives and title it our 'religion'.

Or maybe you don't. I sure do though.

Here at eCult, we recognize this essential truth and use this knowlege to enhance your personal spirituality while building global community without all the fuss. We'll market board games allowing mature yuppies to discuss their religious beliefs in a comfortable environment. On line, we'll develop two-stage learning algorithms for optimizing your spiritual inputs. And of course, we will continue to provide the ever-popular Ritual Brunches you have come to know and love.

In the end, if all goes well, an incredible fortune will be amassed by me and my cronies. (Please contact me if you are interested in applying for one of our 'crony' positions.)

My Birthday Party, powered by eCult.

Friday - November 8 - 9:30 pm

You certainly don't need to be encouraged to go to The Good Time Emporium in beautiful Assembly Sq. (accessible via 90 and 92 buses), where you can enjoy bowling alley style eats with all the fixin's, laser tag and batting cages without ever leaving the comforting expanse of 83,000 sq. ft. of open concrete. But this friday, there's even more: you will also be able to celebrate with me the 25th anniversary of the day of my birth.

Contact me if you need a ride or something.
