So I talked to a bunch of people today. I felt a need to reach out because I was confused. I had lost focus. According to at least one source, my writing is cryptic and difficult to penetrate.
Sucks for you.
Seriously though, it would be awesome if people were a bit more interactive with me on this journal thing. I mean, you're obviously reading this - receiving all kinds of valuable life insight from me. Don't you think you might should be returning the favor?
I was thinking about all the things I might do. I decided that it was part of my destiny to go study permaculture and also to go to Japan. These two things must happen. Then I can proceed to take a boat trip in the pacific rim or change the world. Maybe.
My mom thinks I should just come home.
Yoshi took me to Capitol Hill in Seattle. We got some really good donuts and coffee. If you're ever in the city, go to Top Pot and get a glazed. You won't be sorry. I finally understand what Richard meant when he said that Krispy Kreme donuts aren't particularly good. Then I went to a travel bookstore and got "The Practical Nomad" and chatted up the girl behind the counter. I was on top of the world. Despite the fact that she has a boyfriend (whose parents took their sailboat to the mediterranean after becoming bored of the carribean). I'm Getting Serious about planning my trip.
Yesterday we all went to Vancouver. It was swell.
Great dim sum. Interesting architecture. Japanese-Italian fusion cuisine (you want some). And the best game store I've seen in ages. They don't have a web site, but they have stuff from TSR that's 15 years old, but new stock. Apparently they just buy and warehouse this stuff.
We all recognized Vancouver as inherently superior to Seattle. This combined with my joie d' vivre has apparently helped Yoshi and Marie decide that they want to leave Seattle and find a real city to live in. I am officially dangerous to your lifestyle.
Don't say I didn't warn you.
